Obama Elementary is a college preparatory school in the Summit-University neighborhood, but draws students in from all areas of Saint Paul as a district magnet school with citywide transportation provided. Not only is Obama Elementary one of the largest elementary schools in Saint Paul, with approximately 650 scholars in grades pre-kindergarten through sixth, it also boasts the largest African American population of any elementary school in the district.
